Sunday PLAY SCHEDULE ASSIGNMENTS

Hear Ye!   Hear Ye!    (Helloooooooooooo, Aldo!)
Tournament seeding
requires a tremendous LOT of very good work
to achieve the result the Seeding Committee did.

NB: If you are even suspected to be unable to prove in Prime Time that
you are not now, nor ever have been
a whiner, or malcontent re seeding results;
or, if you are, in any way, absent or undefended
when the unannounced, closed meeting is held
to appoint volunteers to the 2008 Seed Committee,
then maybe you WILL believe me ... next year.

Anyway, it's really not completely horrible,
you get higher STATUS (& fear) among your peers, PLUS ...
standard Seed Committee issue includes:
Member badge, secret password, random number generator, AND extra donut allowance!
(Bet 'Merz' doesn't give all THAT at OSU. Huh, David?)

Grump of the Day:

I try not to whine; really I do.  Though Heaven knows I should.
 Anyway, I'm a faithful Google searcher and what is my "reward" this morning ...
to find that Googling "Aldo" gets
the 6 or more (quit counting when I couldn't see thru the tears) top hits
out of  1.9 MILLION (as in 1,900,000);
but Google yours truly, and get
 -0-, zip, nada hits
out of 608 (& I read every single one).
 Even Aldo's phone number gets more hits than I do.
If I were a petty, jealous person, I probably hate it! ... hate it! ... hate it! 
Fortunately, I'm not ... petty.

ERRATA:
Unless they are both astoundingly stupid AND not my fault,
only the most egregious sins will be confessed here in future
(I've already forgiven myself for all previous ones).

ERRATA:

 1. A corrected version of  The Tournament Entry Fee Form has just been posted (now) showing consistent, correct references to the Coaches' meeting on 10/18 (not 10/13).

2. The Tournament shirts are described in the Admin. Calendar (pink) at item 05.  They are not tie dye t-shirts this year, and any such reference anywhere on the site will be expunged - along with its author - as soon as it/they are found.

3. Aldo.
No Aldo, isn't the Errata, really.  He's a great guy, he told me so himself.  Chris said so too. Then, Chris bought me a shirt, but apparently if fit Aldo.  I've not see either since. If you see Aldo, say "Hi!" to my shirt.  Anyway, the point here is vengeance regret that he, and too many of you have suffered from overproduction in my Typo Department where, for example, the crew misspelled Aldo's email address (and that of several others) delaying the initial 'Wecome' (as typo'ed for everyone!) notice of the tournament, then typo'ed Aldo's school's name, too! These, in addition to our normal error rate, are, as I say, profoundly regretted for the inconvenience caused (which means I'm sorry, but won't admit it).
I may even have to fire myself ... but not before the Coaches' meeting donuts.

4. On-line player registration form
Plz be careful with this important form generally, and initially when you select your school's name abbreviation from the drop-down list.  Seems someone who shall remain nameless, gave Aldo a line-up that Aldo doesn't coach (ironic, huh?). Fear not; I fixed it. .... Has Aldo got one of your shirts too, Paul H.?

as shown in NEWITT's official, Mother-Of-All (Excel) Draw sheets.

You will be asked
to verify it is correct/current or to specify clearly any changes needed

has been INactivated.
To register changes to your singles players & doubles teams
you now need to email our prayer line at admin@newitt-tennis.org
Describe your changes carefully enough
that it can't be misinterpreted by my
Proof Reading & Dyslexic Donut Department
(most of whom will soon transfer to my
Climate Change & Donut Department
to handle the official NEWITT weather forecasts)

The Progress Report
(i.e., who's naughty; who's nice; who's 'The Daddy')
show's what information I believe you've sent to me.
If you believe differently, then "we" have an "issue",
one which, even if it is my fault, is definitely your problem! 
Note my posting's "as of xxx" date/time before you panic. 
Then panic and send me an email - ASAP.  We'll figure it out.
